Micah 5:1-4, Psalm 13:6, Matthew 1-16, 18-23

DAILY HOLY MASS READINGSMicah 5:1-4, Psalm 13:6, Matthew 1-16, 18-23

Micah 5:1-4

It would do us well to always remember that true humility, true littleness is a great virtue in Your sight.  The measure that the world uses to measure greatness and worth of a person is diametrically in contrast with the way in which God measures it.  In the Kingdom of God the humble are exalted, the last is first, the one who serves faithfully will be rewarded much, he who loses his live saves it.  God shooses the least in order that He can demonstrate that all that is accomplished is His doing.  His power is at work to attain the impossible from the improbable.  God chose Mary, a young virgin girl hidden from the world and from her was born the Savior and Redeemer of the world.
