Proverbs 16:20, Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18, Matthew 7:15-20, Psalm 105:1-9

Daily Meditation:  Proverbs 16:2

Proverbs 16:20

20 He who listens to the word will find happiness; blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.

Beloved, give me a heart that is ever willing to listen to Your Word, embrace it and obey it joyfully. Your words are spirit and they are life.  Nourish and strengthen me with Your Word all the days of my life.

Daily Mass Readings:  Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18, Matthew 7:15-20,
                                       Psalm 105:1-9

Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18

How comforting are Your words in verse 1, "Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield."

Grant me a faith that always believes Your holy Word and Your promises.

Matthew 7:15-20

Today's Gospel teaches us how to discern between the many voices that come to us today through various means.  The best way to know the good from the wicked, the true from the false, is to see the fruits of the work.  Only good can come from those who serve You and only wickedness from those who serve evil.

Psalm 105:4, 8

Look to the Lord and be strong; seek his face always.
He remembers his covenant forever, his promise to a thousand generations.

I CAN TRUST MY GOD, MY BELOVED ALWAYS!!
